Now that I’ve moved to a new apartment and the only piece of furniture I own is a bed, I’m always envisioning what I want my space to look like. How am I going to position my sofa? Where will my bookcases go? Wall art? What kind? So many thoughts and I feel like every day, I get a new idea for how I want things to look. While I already have a pretty solid idea about what I want, color wise, everything else is still pretty much up in the air. Which brings me to today’s feeling inspired feature: The Everygirl’s Home Tours. Now, before I get started, are you a reader of the Everygirl? No? Why not? Ok, I won’t judge you, maybe you haven’t come across them before today. Well, you’re welcome. :)

From The Everygirl:  The Everygirl, LLC, is the ultimate online resource helping shape the creative, career-driven woman to experience her life better lived. It is the inspiration to help you achieve your dreams, whatever they may be.

This website really is a vast source of inspiration, I could list out all the things I love about them, however, today is about Everygirl Home Tours. Each time a home tour gets published, I get so giddy it’s kind of ridiculous. I love them because they’re a source of inspiration for me and they provide a glimpse into the lives of the home owners. Each home tour is usually accompanied by an interview of the home owner, who is almost always a female entrepreneur. So other that the fact that I get to see ideas for when I start make my space my own, I usually find a new blogger to follower or a powerful female to be inspired by. Not that those are mutually exclusive.

For example, Kathleen’s patio space inspires me with wonderful ideas for making my own balcony into a chic yet cozy space.  And other than lust worthy outdoor space, I discovered her blog, {Carrie Bradshaw Lied, where she displays cute outfit posts and equally cute D.I.Y. tutorials} via her Everygirl Home Tours interview.

And when I came across Louise’s Home Tour, I absolutely fell in love with her dining area and just knew I wanted a white dining set. I also discovered that she’s the blogger and author behind Front Roe.

Anna’s studio apartment, features a gorgeous window side garden that I wish I could re-create and the idea of a bed in a closet (even though it was only mentioned and not pictured in the post) struck me as a genius use  of space.

The gallery wall in Adrienne’s dining room is so fab! I love that sweet tea sign. I plan to have a gallery wall for the first time when I start decorating, so I love seeing how other people arrange their art work. I also love that her home is a great balance between white and various splashes of color.
